Description
This barn, located 20 metres south-west of Falcon Farmhouse, dates from the 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, topped with a corrugated iron roof that is hipped on the right and gabled on the left. There is a hipped mid-strey and a recessed cart-house addition at the right end. Inside, the barn features three bays, originally designed with a semi-aisle to the south and a returned aisle at the west end, while the eastern two bays have a later north aisle. The interior includes passing shores and quadrant braces supporting the arcade posts, and it has a renewed clasped purlin roof.
