Description

Forge Cottage is a house that dates back to the 16th century, with cladding added in the 18th century. It features a timber frame covered with red brick, although the frame is exposed on the right side with red brick infill. The roof is plain tiled and hipped, with stacks located on the left side and projecting at the right end. The building has three wooden casement windows on each floor, with the ground floor windows having segmental heads. There is a panelled door located to the centre left, which is topped with a half-hipped roof. At the rear, there is a catslide outshot.
