Description
Rowling Street Farm is a house that dates back to the 16th century or earlier, with cladding added in the 18th century. It features a timber frame covered with red brick, set on a ragstone base, and has a plain tiled roof. The building stands two storeys high on a plinth, with a brick dogtooth cornice adorning the hipped roof, which has gablets and a central stack. On the first floor, there are two large leaded wooden casements with a small central light, while the ground floor has two casements and a central door made of planks and studs. The lower ground floors on the return elevations include a ragstone catslide outshot at the rear. The interior is reported to be fully framed.
