Description

Chestnuts is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with tile hanging on the front elevation of the first floor and has a plain tiled roof. The building stands two storeys high, featuring stacks that project and are offset at both the left and right ends. The front has a regular arrangement of windows, with three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all set within moulded surrounds. The central entrance is a boarded door topped by a flat hood supported on brackets. At the rear, there is a large two-storey wing that extends from the main structure.
