Description

Chequer Tree Farmhouse is a 17th-century house constructed of red brick in English bond, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building features one storey and an attic on the left side, which sits on a plinth and has a hipped roof with an attic dormer. The roof rises to the right, leading to a half-hipped two-storey section that includes a central projecting stack. The windows display irregular arrangements of wooden casements in the center, with two glazing bar sashes on the left and one in the upper right. An oak door is set in a red brick porch built on a ragstone plinth, which has a hipped tiled roof.
