Description

Gill Cottage is an 18th-century house that has been extended in the 20th century. It is constructed of ragstone with red brick dressings and features a plain tiled roof. The building stands two storeys high on a plinth, with brick quoins at the corners and hipped roof stacks located at the rear left and to the left side. The facade has a regular arrangement of two wooden casements on each floor, along with a central half-glazed door that is set in a moulded surround topped with a gabled hood. To the right, there is an outshot, and to the left, a recessed 20th-century weatherboarded wing that is one storey and has an attic with a hipped semi-dormer.
