Description
Collington Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century, with cladding added in the 18th century. It has a timber frame and is clad with red brick on the main front, while the rear and rear wings are weatherboarded, featuring exposed close-studding and plaster infill. The roofs are plain tiled. The building stands two storeys high on a plinth, with a hipped roof and a stack located at the rear left. On the left side, there is one glazing bar sash window, and on each floor, there are three wooden casement windows, which have segmental heads on the ground floor. The entrance features a central rib and stud door within a gable porch. The left return displays close studding with a jetty on a painted brick base. At the rear, there is a large overhanging gable on the return wing.
