Description

The Old Bakery is a house dating from the late 17th century. It features painted brickwork and a plain tiled roof, consisting of two parallel ranges, with one set back and connected by a cross-range. The building has two storeys and half-hipped roofs, with the left roof projecting forward. There are stacks located to the left and at the end on the right. Each gable-end floor has one segmental headed wooden casement, and there is a boarded half door in the catslide outshot on the left. The arrangement of the two wings may indicate that it was originally a separate house and bakehouse.
