Description

This is an early 18th-century house and shop. It is located on Lees Court Road in Sheldwich. The building is constructed of chequered red and blue brick with a plain tiled roof. It consists of two builds, with the left-hand bay being a later addition. The building features a plinth, plat band, and moulded eaves cornice. The roof has stacks positioned centrally to the left and at the end to the right, and includes two hipped dormers.

The front facade is symmetrical and originally comprised two bays. The original right bay has two wooden casements with a central blank panel on the first floor, and two segmental-headed wooden casements with shutters on the ground floor. A boarded door is set beneath a flat hood. The facade was extended to the left by one bay, which contains a single wooden casement and a boarded door, both with segmental heads. A single-storey post office extension with a boarded door is attached to the right.
