Description

West End is a house dating from the 17th century, with a 19th-century cladding. It features a timber frame with a painted brick base, a weatherboarded front, and painted brick side elevations. The roof is plain tiled. The building has a lobby entry plan and consists of one storey and an attic. There are stacks projecting from the left end and the centre right, along with one hipped dormer. The front has one glazing bar sash window to the left, two 20th-century wooden casement windows in the centre and to the right, and a door to the centre right that has Gothick pattern ribs and a flat hood. At the rear, there is a catslide outshot. This building is included for its group value with Chambers Cottage.
