Description

The Old Cottage is a 17th-century house located in Sheldwich Lees. It features a timber frame that is exposed, with painted brick infill and weather-hoarded gables, topped by a plain tiled roof. The building has a four-framed bay lobby entry plan and stands two storeys high, with stacks positioned to the left and rear right. On the first floor, there are three wooden casements, while the ground floor has two casements and one in a shallow central two-storey brick bay window. To the left, there is a half-glazed door set in a gabled porch. Additionally, there is a single-storey extension to the left, which includes one wooden casement.
