Description

This is an early to mid-18th century shop and house, or possibly earlier. It is constructed of chequered red and grey brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a plain tile roof. The building stands on a plinth and has a plat band, moulded wood eaves cornice, and gable end stacks. The front has a regular arrangement of four glazing-bar sash windows per floor. The ground floor features a canted bay window to the left and a rectangular bay window to the right. A door is located under each of the two central first-floor windows. These doors have six fielded panels, a plain rectangular fanlight, and a flat, corniced hood, and lead up three steps. There are two different fire insurance plaques on the front. The interior has not been inspected.
