Description
No. 10 High Street is a house dating from the early 19th century, possibly with a core from the 18th century. It is constructed of chequered red and grey brick and features a plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and a cellar, with the roof extending into the roof of the cross-wing of No. 12 to the left. There is a rear stack to the right. The front has an irregular arrangement of windows, including two tripartite windows. The entrance consists of a recessed panelled door with two top lights, accessed by three steps and positioned off-centre to the left. This door is framed by a moulded architrave with a lightly swagged frieze and a flat corniced hood. There is also a plain boarded door at the right end. The interior has been partly inspected.
