Description

This is an early 18th-century house and shop, located on Reepham Market Place. It is built of rendered brickwork with a black pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and attics, with a rear lean-to extension. The front facade has four window bays, featuring sash windows on the first floor. A 19th-century double shop front is present on the left side, with central half-glazed doors and a fanlight above. The windows have glazing bars and semi-circular traceried heads. A central door has a half-glazed door and consoles supporting a projecting cornice. The north side has a curved parapet gable with brick kneelers and oval windows in the attic storey. A string course runs at attic floor level on the south side, where there are also end stacks. Two 20th-century segmental-head dormers are visible. The rear of the building features an internal gable with a central external chimney. Inside, the principal first floor beams are stopped and chamfered with run-out stops.
