Description
Grape Vine Cottage and Apple Tree Cottage are two adjoining houses that were originally built as one structure, dating from the 16th century or earlier. The building features visible square timber framing with brick infill, while the upper part on the left is rendered, and there is some rubble stonework in the center. The left section has two low storeys and three windows, while the right section has one storey and an attic with one window. The building has a large, high-pitched tiled roof that is hipped on the left side, and there is one gabled dormer on the right. The windows are replaced leaded casements of varying sizes. Grape Vine Cottage has its entrance on the left return, while Apple Tree Cottage features a modern gabled porch. There is also a one-storey extension on the right made of traditional materials.
