Description
Stanholm is a villa dating from around 1840, featuring two storeys and four windows with a projecting left bay. It has a fairly low-pitched, slated roof with deep, bracketed eaves soffits. The building is constructed of red brick, with the front stuccoed. The sash windows have shouldered, moulded architraves and glazing bars, while the ground floor displays console bracketed cornices, with a pediment above the three-light window in the left bay. The entrance is located on the left return and consists of a four-panel door set back behind a doorcase adorned with pilasters featuring ornamental capitals and an enriched entablature with a pediment. There is also a glazed verandah on the right return.
