Eden Cottage is a villa dating from the second quarter of the 19th century, situated on the west side of High Street, Edenbridge. It is a two-storey, three-window structure. The roof is moderately low pitched and slate-covered. The building is constructed of red brick, with a first-floor band. The brick returns feature a diaper pattern created with blue headers. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within exposed moulded frames. Ground floor windows are situated beneath rusticated stucco arches. The front door is of three and two panels, topped by a patterned rectangular fanlight, and is set within a doorcase featuring sunk panel pilasters and a cornice hood.
