Description

Bricklands is a villa dating to circa 1830, situated on the north side of Bury Road. It is a two-story building with a three-window front. The roof is slate, with a low pitch and a wide flat eaves cornice. The walls are stuccoed, with a band marking the first floor. The windows are sash windows, some with shutters, and there are French windows on the ground floor. A trellis work verandah extends across the entire front of the building. A side porch, originally supported by square columns, has been infilled with windows. The property features tall, banded chimneys.
