Description

Priory Lodge is a villa dating from around 1820, located on Priory Place in Cheltenham. The house is constructed of stucco over brick, with a concealed roof and a left-end stack finished with a cornice. A wrought-iron verandah is also present.

The villa is two storeys high and has four windows on the first floor. Stucco detailing includes a first-floor band, a crowning frieze, a cornice, and a blocking course. Replacement windows are present throughout; the first floor has casement windows, while the ground floor has French windows, all set in plain reveals with sills. The entrance to the left return also features a first-floor band and a casement window above.

The interior has not been inspected. The verandah features scrolled lozenges on the uprights and frieze, and the balustrade has a scrolled quatrefoil design.
