Description

Wicken Cottage is a 16th century or earlier timber-framed building located on the east side of High Street in Edenbridge, adjoining Nos 1 and 2 Hever Road. The cottage has two storeys, featuring three windows on the first floor and four on the ground floor. It has a very high pitched tiled roof that extends down as a lean-to at the back. There is an end projecting stack with a random stone base. The first floor is refaced with tiles, while the ground floor is faced with brick. The cottage includes various 19th century casements and a modern part-glazed door. Wicken Cottage is part of a group with Nos 2 and 4 Hever Road.
