Description

The bridge over the River Eden, located on the west side of High Street in Edenbridge, was built in 1836. It is constructed from local ashlar stone and features a wide, four-centred arch made of rusticated voussoirs. The bridge has a solid balustrade with moulded coping and rounded, battered corner piers that support lampholders. On the east parapet, only the pedestal remains from a former sundial. There is also a bronze plaque with an inscription commemorating the coronation of Edward VII.
