Description

Old Mill Cottage is a 16th century timber-framed hall house that has been divided into two cottages. The building is two storeys high and constructed from Kentish ragstone with red brick dressings and window quoins. It features brick relieving arches and has a total of three casement windows. The roof is steeply pitched and hipped, covered with tiles, and includes a chimneystack. Inside, the cottage showcases dragon beams and chamfered beams, particularly around the inglenook fireplace on the ground floor, as well as an early 16th century stone fireplace located on the first floor. Old Mill Cottage is part of a group with Millers Ley.
