Description

The Old House is a 16th century timber-framed building that appears to have originally been two cottages, with the western section being L-shaped. The building has been restored, and the ground floor is rebuilt in red brick, while the timber framing with curved braces is still visible on the first floor. It has two storeys and features two windows for each cottage. The roof is tiled, with the section that was the western cottage having two hips and a gabled dormer on the south side, corresponding to the first floor windows on that side of the building.
