The roof is tiled and hipped, featuring one brick stack. The building has four later casement windows and a simple doorcase. The property is part of a group of local interest with numbers 46, 56 to 60 (even), 66 and 68. It was formerly known as Tile Cottage and Tutt's Cottage and was associated with The Forge.
