Description

Nos 6 and 7 on Dorset Street are possibly from the 17th century and consist of two storeys with a two-window facade. The ground floor features shop fronts, while the first floor is rendered with rusticated plaster quoins. There is a central plaster plaque displaying a King's head and a small recessed stone panel below it with the date 1605. The building has two square projecting 19th-century oriel windows with plaster coves that contain casements. The eaves are moulded, and there is a lead gutter. The roof is ridge tiled and half hipped to the right. Nos 4 to 8B on Dorset Street form a group with this building.
