Description
Nos 25 and 26 on Bridge Street are a pair of buildings dating from the 16th century, with a 17th century wing on the northeast side. They have been altered at various times. The buildings are two storeys high with attics, constructed from timber framing and plaster, and feature a tiled roof with a coved cornice at the eaves. There are two windows with hung sashes and glazing bars, likely from the early 19th century, along with two hipped dormers. Inside, there is a 17th century staircase and a late 18th century staircase, both with simple fittings from the 18th century. The shopfront is modern. Nos 21 to 26 form a group.
