Description

The Old Vicarage is a house dating from the 16th century. It is timber-framed and originally plastered, with some sections later refaced in brick. The south front and the gabled west end have a projecting upper storey, supported by four shaped brackets on the south front. The windows are from the 18th century and later periods. A doorcase in the west end, dating from the early 19th century, features a reeded surround. The rear wall is largely brick and topped by five rectangular shafts set diagonally. The interior includes some plain fittings from the 18th century.
