Description
No. 101 on High Street is a building from the early 17th century, located at the corner of High Street and Dorset Street. This two-storey structure features an over-sailing first floor and an attic gable window that faces Dorset Street. The ground floor has a modern shop front with a corner splayed door. The first floor is finished in stucco and has a wooden panelled soffit along with a moulded fascia board. Above the ground floor, there is a long painted panel that includes a painted shop sign. The first floor has one sash window and a small light on the extreme left. The building has boarded eaves and a gutter, with a ridge tile roof. The gable elevation facing Dorset Street includes a central sash window on the first floor and an attic casement window above. Nos. 99 and 101 are considered to form a group.
