Description
Nos 5 and 6 on St Margaret's Street are early 17th century buildings that stand two storeys high with gables. They are timber-framed but have been plastered on the first floor, with painted brick in the gables. The roof has been restored with tiles. The gables feature two 19th century windows: one casement and one sash with verticals only. The buildings have an overhang and include two canted bays, one with three lights and the other with four lights. There is also a later 19th century shopfront. Nos 5 to 8 form a group.
