Description

41 and 42 St Margaret's Street are early 18th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall and are constructed of buff brick. They feature an old tiled roof with a dormer and stone coping. Above the first-floor window, there are panelled recesses. The buildings have two cambered sash windows, although some glazing bars are missing. The shopfront, dating from the later 19th century, includes pilasters and a fanlight, while No. 42 has a tiled shopfront. The side elevation has a rounded corner and three sash windows. Nos 38 to 42 form a group.
