Description

This is a late 18th-century three-storey building with a basement, constructed of red brick and topped with stone coping. It has three sash windows on each floor, retaining their original glazing bars. The windows are detailed with stone heads and sills. A notable feature is the fine porch, supported by two Roman Doric columns, which are freely interpreted in their design. The porch includes panelled reveals, a rectangular fanlight with fine glazing bars, and a six-panelled door. A footscraper is also present. The building forms a group with numbers 38 to 42 on the same street.
