No 1 on Hawks Lane is an early 19th-century building that has been refaced from an earlier structure. It is two storeys tall and constructed of red brick, topped with a tiled roof. The building features recessed windows with 19th-century easements. On the ground floor, there is a carriage entrance. The entrance on the north side has a pedimented doorcase and a six-panelled door with fielded upper panels. This property, along with No 2, the extension to No 6, and Nos 6 to 16, forms a group.
