Description

This is a cottage located in the yard behind the Grasshopper Inn, along with a wall that connects the cottage to the inn. The cottage dates from the 18th century or earlier and is two stories high with two windows. It is constructed of ragstone random rubble masonry, with cyclopean stonework in the lower sections and galleted flint. The first floor features 19th-century casement windows, while there are various doors on the ground floor. The cottage is currently empty and in need of repair. The wall to the south is made of very large random rubble.
