Description
Grove Cottage is a cottage with origins dating back to the 18th century. It is constructed of rubble with Ham stone ashlar dressings and features a thatched roof with coped gables, along with artificial stone slates on the lean-to roof on the east side. The building is two stories high and consists of one bay, with a single-storey, two-bay extension on the east. It has a hollow recessed chamfered window with two arches, lacking a label, and features a vertical iron bar behind small-pane metal casements. To the right, there are modern French doors, with 20th-century casement windows above and in the extension. There is a long outshut on the north side. The interior has not been seen. Grove Cottage is attached to Hymerford House on the north and east sides.
