Description

No. 1 Buntham, also known as Bunthams Cottages, is one of a terrace of four cottages dating from the 18th century. The building is constructed of cut and squared local stone with Ham stone ashlar quoins and features a thatched roof with coping on the southeast gable and a brick chimney stack at the end. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and has two bays. The cottage has a projecting porch made of reconstructed stone with a tiled roof. On the ground floor, there is a three-light leaded casement window under an exposed timber lintel, and above, there are two-light casements set into the thatch. The interior has not been seen.
