Description

Burton Barton is one of a terrace of four cottages dating to around 1800. The construction is of ham stone, cut and squared, with exposed timber lintels and a thatched roof. A central chimney stack is made of brick. The cottage is two storeys high and has two bays. It features two-light leaded casement windows of 18th century pattern. A projecting stone porch with a tiled roof and a side doorway was added in the late 20th century to the second bay. The interior has not been inspected. The property was formerly listed as part of a pair of cottages located 50 yards north of the Mission Room.
