Description
The End House is a cottage dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from ham stone rubble with exposed timber lintels and features a thatched roof topped by a central brick chimney stack. The building is one storey with an attic and has three irregular bays. The windows are timber casements, including a wide single light from the 20th century in the first bay, a three-light window in the second bay, and a half-glazed door in a plain surround. Above the door and in the third bay, there is an older three-light casement set into the thatch. The northern corner of the house is rounded to follow the curve of the lane. The interior has not been seen. The End House adjoins Higher Burton Farmhouse to the west.
