Description

Finch Cottage is one of a terrace of four cottages dating to around 1800. It is located approximately 50 yards north of the Mission Room in Higher Burton. The cottage is constructed of ham stone, cut and squared, with exposed timber lintels. It has a thatched roof with a coped south-east gable and an end chimney stack made of brick. The two-storey, two-bay cottage has three-light casement windows, largely leaded and in an 18th-century style. A boarded door with a window cut into the right-hand bay completes the exterior. The interior has not been inspected.
