Description
Priory Cottage is a cottage dating from the 18th century, with possible earlier origins and some modifications. It is constructed of local stone rubble and features a Welsh slate roof between coped gables, along with brick chimney stacks. The building has a double roof plan and stands two stories tall, with the east facade comprising two bays. Both levels have three-light leaded casement windows, except for the lower bay 2, which has a steel casement window that was inserted in a former doorway. To the left of bay 1, there is an earlier stair window, likely from the late 17th century. There is a single-storey extension on the south gable with a plain tiled roof, and the entrance is now located on the west side in what appears to be a later wing. The interior has not been seen. Attached to the north side is Naish Cottage.
