Description
Naish Cottage, also known as The Gardener's Cottage, is a cottage that likely dates from the early 19th century. It is built from local stone rubble and features double Roman clay tiles that have replaced the original thatch, set between coped gables. The cottage is a single storey with an attic and has a two-bay west elevation. It includes timber casement windows with leading, positioned under concrete lintels, and has felted flat roof dormers above. The plain entrance door is located to the right of the second bay and is sheltered by a timber hood. On the east side, facing Naish Priory, there are older timber windows. The interior appears to have undergone little alteration. Naish Cottage is included for its group value as it is attached to Stable Cottage on the south side.
