Description
The war memorial, built around 1919 by Sir T G Jackson, is located on Kippington Road in Sevenoaks. It features a moulded octagonal stone plinth that is topped by three octagonal stone steps. The base is also octagonal and supports a tapering octagonal shaft, which is decorated with laurel wreaths near the bottom and topped with a Celtic cross. The inscription on the memorial reads: "IN MEMORY OF THE MEN OF KIPPINGTON WHO DIED FOR THEIR KING AND COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1918."
