Description

This gas lamp standard, located opposite No. 112 (Little Farnaby) on Kippington Road, dates from around 1890 and is made of cast iron. It features a tapering lantern topped with a central urn finial and acroteria at the ends, all mounted on an octagonal column with a deep plinth. This lamp standard is part of a series of gas lamp standards along Kippington Road.
