Description

This gas lamp standard, located opposite No. 10 (Les Arbres) on Oakhill Road, dates from around 1890. It is made of cast iron and features a tapering lantern with a central urn finial and decorative acroteria at both ends, all supported by an octagonal column with a deep plinth. This lamp standard is part of a series of gas lamp standards along Oakhill Road.
