Description

This gas lamp standard, located by the path to Sevenoaks Station, dates from around 1890 and is made of cast iron. It features a tapering lantern topped with a central urn finial and acroteria at the ends, all mounted on an octagonal column with a deep plinth. This lamp is part of a series of gas lamp standards along Oakhill Road.
