Description

This gas lamp standard, located opposite No. 46 Oakhill Road, dates from around 1890 and is made of cast iron. It features a tapering lantern topped with a central urn finial and decorative acroteria at either end, set on a fluted column with a deep plinth and plumed decoration. This lamp standard is part of a series of gas lamp standards along Oakhill Road.
