Description

This gas lamp standard, located opposite No. 53 High Beech, dates from around 1890 and is made of cast iron. It features a tapering lantern topped with a central urn finial and acroteria at each end, all mounted on an octagonal column with a deep plinth. This lamp is part of a series of gas lamp standards along Kippington Road.
