Description

This gas lamp standard, located opposite Churchill Court on Kippington Road, dates from around 1890. It is made of cast iron and features a tapering lantern topped with a central urn finial and decorative acroteria at the ends, all supported by fluted cylindrical columns. This lamp is part of a series of gas lamp standards along Kippington Road.
