Description

The gas lamp standard located opposite the Church Hall on Kippington Road in Sevenoaks dates from around 1890. It is made of cast iron and features a tapering lantern with a central urn finial and acroteria at the ends, all mounted on a fluted cylindrical column. This lamp is part of a series of gas lamp standards along Kippington Road.
