Description

This gas lamp standard, located opposite Nos 58 and 60 on Oakhill Road, dates from around 1890 and is made of cast iron. It features a tapering lantern topped with a central urn finial and decorative acroteria at the ends, all supported by an octagonal column with a deep plinth. This lamp is part of a series of gas lamp standards along Oakhill Road.
