Description

This gas lamp standard, located opposite No. 110 (Sharstead) on Kippington Road, dates from around 1890 and is made of cast iron. It features a tapering lantern topped with a central urn finial and decorative acroteria at both ends, all supported by a fluted cylindrical column. This lamp is part of a series of gas lamp standards along Kippington Road.
